Jeff completed the recording of his debut album with the completion of Daddy's Been Laid Off and an acoustic version of Just Me Alone at Sound-Board. Two other tracks were also recorded in preparation for the second album! The recordings feature the mult-talented Matt Webb on lead and bass guitar. Great to have him back.

During a very productive weekend at Sound-Board studios Jeff added finishing touches to Don't Be Denied and recorded two new songs: Sing Loud Little Angel and an unnamed track!

Jeff recorded another new track at Sound-Board studios called Don't Be Denied. The song contains a drumming debut from Kevin Amies and backing vocals from Vicky Edwards, along with the usual backing of James Clark and Gareth Davies.

February 8, 2004

Jeff returned to Sound-Board studios to add the finishing touches and enhancements to Only You Can Stand In Your Shoes. You will be able to listen to the new version shortly. Jeff will be going back into the studio in a few weeks time to record two more songs along with the usual Davies & Clark team.

October 11/12, 2003

Jeff recorded a new song entitled Summer Smiled at the Sound-Board studios with Jim Clark once again at the helm. The track features the melodic guitar playing of Gareth Davies. They all agreed that the session produced a track to be proud of for all concerned!

The Midnight Booty Band will be performing at The Roots Festival in Coombe Bissett, nr Salisbury, to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the mighty blues-rock band, Faraway Tree.

Jeff went into the recording studios at Jim Clark's excellent Sound-Board studios to record a demo of a new song, called Only You Can Stand In Your Shoes. Check it out on the music page here or on the Sound Board web site. Jeff will be recording more songs at Sound-Board soon. Watch this space!!

Along with Matt Webb (lead guitar) and Simon Maher (backing vocals), the trio performed for the first time as The Midnight Booty Band. The gig at The White Horse in NW London went really well. Hopefully there will be some songs recorded at the gig available for download soon.

March 1, 2003 (St. David's Day)

This day saw the birth of Mist Records, a joint venture between Jeff and fellow songwriter Gareth Davies. Expect a plethora of releases on the label in the coming months and years!
